Dr. G. Banu Karthi is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the PG and Research Department of Chemistry (Self-Financed), Jamal Mohamed College, Tiruchirappalli, with over nine years of experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from H.H. The Rajah’s College, Pudukottai under Bharathidasan University and has successfully qualified the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) through Mother Teresa University. Her areas of specialization include Coordination Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Nanochemistry. She has authored and co-authored several high-impact research papers in reputed journals such as Inorganic Chemistry Communications, Journal of Molecular Liquids, and European Chemical Bulletin, with contributions to the fields of molecular synthesis, spectral studies, DFT calculations, and biological activity assessments. Her work also includes a registered design patent titled “Advanced MHP Synthesis Chamber”. Dr. Banu Karthi has received notable accolades such as the Best Paper Award at the iCAM 2020 International Conference and the Best Academic Excellence Award in 2025. She serves as a reviewer for the journal Modern Chemistry and holds memberships in professional bodies like the International Organization for Academic and Scientific Development (IOASD) and The Professional Membership Council (TPMC). Actively engaged in academic events, she has contributed as a chairperson, judge, resource person, and organizing committee member for numerous national and international conferences and workshops. With a strong research orientation and commitment to academic excellence, Dr. G. Banu Karthi continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of chemical sciences.
