Dr. Rumana Ahmad is an accomplished biochemist specializing in molecular and biochemical parasitology, medicinal biochemistry, and translational biomedical research. Her work focuses on glutathione-S-transferase–based drug target discovery in malarial and filarial parasites, enzyme inhibition strategies, and natural product–derived therapeutics. With extensive postdoctoral experience at the University of Washington, she has contributed to prostate cancer biomarker development and advanced dialysis technologies.
