Dr. Rohit L. Vekariya’s research centers on the design, synthesis, and characterization of task-specific ionic liquids and their multidisciplinary applications. His work spans environmental remediation, soft matter and nanotechnology, catalysis, and energy storage systems. He has contributed significantly to water purification, nanoparticle synthesis, micellar self-assembly, and polymer electrolytes. His postdoctoral research advanced ionic-liquid-based catalysts and energy devices, including supercapacitors. Integrating techniques such as SANS, DLS, NMR, and electrochemistry, his research has achieved high international impact and recognition.

Dr. Lyubov Shmygleva is a materials scientist and Head of the Laboratory of Technologies of Materials and Devices for Electrochemical Energy Sources at the Russian Academy of Sciences. Her research centers on functional materials for solid-state electrochemical sensors, low-temperature hydrogen fuel cells, and lithium- and sodium-ion batteries, alongside plasma-chemical synthesis of advanced powders. She has led and contributed to numerous national projects on proton-conducting electrolytes, ion-exchange membranes, and membrane–electrode assemblies. Dr. Shmygleva has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications, holds one patent, and plays an active leadership role in scientific conference organization.
