Dr. Liangfei Duan began his academic journey at Yunnan Normal University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Building Environment and Energy Engineering (2008–2012), under the supervision of Prof. Xu Rui. During this period, he also pursued a double undergraduate degree in Mathematics Teacher Education, showcasing his dedication and intellectual breadth. He went on to complete his Master’s degree in Agricultural Electrification and Automation (2012–2015), mentored by Prof. Yang Peizhi, and continued his scholarly path with a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Yunnan University, where his research was guided by Prof. Liu Jing and Prof. Liu Qingju. His doctoral studies culminated in June 2023.

Dr. Duan has held multiple pivotal roles across academia and industry. He served as an R&D Engineer and Project Supervisor at Yunnan North Aurora Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (2015–2020) and later became Research Director at Yunnan Haihan Organic Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (2021). Concurrently, he was involved in academic research as a Researcher at the Key Laboratory of Organic Optoelectronic Materials and Devices at Kunming University and Yunnan University. He currently serves as a Deputy Senior Engineer and external Master's advisor in Materials Chemistry at Kunming University.
