Following this, he worked at Geno Pharma as a Chemist (FDA, India Approved) from 1997 to 2000, which allowed him to hone his skills in regulatory affairs and pharmaceutical development. His journey continued at Dana Drugs as Assistant Manager from 2000 to 2005, where he gained managerial experience.
In academia, Dr. Rajurkar served as an Assistant Professor at SPCOP, Otur from 2005 to 2009 and later as a Professor until 2011. Subsequently, he worked as a Professor at MESCOP, Sonai, from 2011 to 2016, where he was Approved by Savitribai Phule Pune University. Since 2016, he has been the Principal at Dr. V.P. Patil Pharmacy College, Aurangabad, where he has further established himself as a leading figure in the field of pharmacy education.
